... the 3 of us managed to share- really large portions! This we ate at a really cute restaurant on the beach (literally chairs sinking into the sand). It was also Alex's birthday so Germán got this beautiful cake from the bakery for everyone. The night ended with us dancing to the live band in the main square and then heading to the only little club on the island, which was down the road from our hotel. We never want to leave ilha ...

... Considered turning back until we seen the snake, It was unreal to see it and it was huge about 6ft long, we couldn't get its length in one photo! We had a great story to tell everyone at end of walk. We seen monkeys in trees around us just small ones and could hear the bigger ones but no joy with spotting them!! The beach when we finally got there is voted as one of the best in world and it was easy to see why, the ...

... part of the hike was a 30 mins and I was ready to hit the beach as it was getting hotter. There were a few more people on this hike in flip flops so I overtook them as I was dripping in sweat and they were too slow. The final part was quite and steep climb down and so I decided to follow Alberto's rule and run down. It was fun and much quicker but the best bit was getting down was seeing the beach - OMG it was absolutely heaven! The sea was just so blue and the sand ...
