Farewell to Benicassim

We have liked having coffee on the terrace of the Voramar hotel and have met some lovely people who come here every year.
The coast is lovely here and we really liked Peniscola too.
There are not so many high rise modern hotels as further down the coast and there is still some old world charm about the area with it's lovely ...

Elche's modern industry is the manufacturing of shoes.There are more than 1000 footware factories in the area. The city is 11 km from the sea and after our morning visit we drove to Santa Pola for lunch near the harbor.
It was a lovely day trip and one we will surely recommend to visitors!

TORREVIEJA TO ISLA DE TABARCA
Hot, peaceful and FREE.
Well we finally left Marina Salinas at Torrevieja after a month at berth there. We had a very relaxed time and met some super people, namely our Scottish neighbours Joe and Janice on Babycakes and John, Mike and Alan on their yachts. Thank you all for your kindness and help.
Leaving after so many days in the marina meant we had to refocus ...
