    ... Went for a drive in the afternoon to see the old cheese factory run by John and Eva Kriewaldt. went to a number of cemeteries and took pictures of headstones. Will need time to work out where they all fit in.

    Today Sunday we are all off to Upper Peninsular (UP) for a couple of day. May not have internet and probably no phone. we have no mobile phone here as At&T is not received.

    We got to Crandon about 5pm and went to mom's. They were down by lake with Jacks sister Charlotte and her husband Hurley. Jazmyn Georgia Steve were there also. Had a nice dinner at Casino. Spent some time in hot tub with mom Georgia and Jaz. Went to casino and won at Blackjack...yippee.... Also sang Red Neck Woman Karaoke....after a couple bloody marys LOL.
    Had a nice breakfast and then lunch with mom and family. Got to see a couple ...

    After clinic and college of the Menominee Nation in Keshena, hit the road about 4 -- straight north of Hwy 55 along Wolf River through the reservation. Heavy rain -- enough that we pulled over for 10 min until it eased. Rustic campsite along 55, but everything looked very wet so we went on. Drove down dirt side road to a falls area in Wolf.     SO many laughs, so much good fun and food, and such amazing friendship to be celebrated when we gather at Norma Jean & Gus' place on Lake Bradley in Wisconsin's Northwoods. Most of their family was up for the weekend, and Myrna came up from Minneapolis, too. Great bird watching in between all the rest of the fun - LOTS of pictures to be posted when we get to a decent signal!

    Despite some incorrectly-sized pieces, a few false starts, several cloudbursts and storms, and many meal-time interruptions, the deck was mostly complete by the time "the gang" left on Monday! An amazing exhibit of teamwork, sharing, and support.
