    Another stifling day. Usual line up to disembark ship onto bus. Guide today was Australian who has lived in Italy for 20 years and was excellent. Drove about hour to Pisa through beautiful countryside full of history which John the guide filled us in on. Bus has to be parked well out and had twenty minute walk in.     We have an 8:30 train to catch so decide on breakfast at the hotel where we see Hannah and her son Daniel who are leaving the tour to head to Lake Como to watch the older son compete in 'Ultimate Frisbee' World Champs at Lake Como!!     ... is only 4km from the city centre so location is good.

    We took the Bus into Venice on the Saturday, a return ticket was €2.60 each so very reasonable and there didn't seem to be many cycle routes around so it was the best option.

    There are a lot of little streets in Venice so very easy to get lost down, but also easy to be walking around areas which aren't populated with tourists, its a very traditional Italian city, the big draw is obviously St ...
