... to the wharf at the fish markets near Rialto Bridge and our hotel, Locanda Poste Vecie, which used to be a post office, and the hotel manager came to meet us and walk us to the hotel which is really in a very convenient position. I am in a lovely attic room just under the roof line but it is air conditioned but there are 59 steps from the front door of the hotel to my room so it will keep me fit.
