    ... to Verona we hopped onto the next train that went to Balzano. After we arrived in Balzano, Italy we went and got a map of all of Balzano so you could know where we were going most of the time. After we got the map we went to this information place where they gave us lots of info about Balzano and she said that we should got on the cable car up to the top of one of the mountains in Balzano and to then catch a train to do this walk. ...

    ... a smelly, dirty city but to my experience today I found it extremely clean and no such smells at all. Other than a few bits of dogs mess in the street and the filthy smokers throwing their fag ends down the streets were extremely clean.

    However, I believe yesterday the whole city had rather high water and that would explain why the streets were extremely wet today. This may have washed much of the dirt away and cleaned up the streets slightly.

    ... s friends, he said coming to Venice by train was the most romantic way to arrive. He described coming out of the station and there is Venice before you complete with one of the canals and a beautiful church.

    Could understand his point of view after looking around this area. Watched the boat traffic and people moving this way and that for awhile and then headed back to Calle dei Preti to eat ...

    We enjoyed champagne cocktails and had personal tours through her home/now museum. A special thanks to Liam, the docent who guided our group through the museum. His enthusiasm was infectious and he made the tour an informative and memorable one.
