... dip with red onions and cappers yummy with a glass of local beer. Going back we decide to walk past the bus stop and see a bit more .. the boat sailed at 4.30 and we got back to the bus stop at three to see a bus loading.. well it was full so we had to wait for the next one. It arrived at 3ish and the line was long as everyone was trying to get back.. the trick was you had to get on the tram as well to get down to the dock! Though, despite the labyrinth we have to go through to get to our new home, the view is amazing! ...

... im done writing this post im going to chow down on the leftovers. Mainly what strikes me here is the funny things that we dont do in Canada. Like, they charge 80 cents to go to the BATHROOM. Really guys? Its making me ration how many times I go a day (basically anytime i go to the restaurant). also, the gondola drivers talk on their cell phones while theyre driving, its really funny, and they SING. a song that was in the lizzie mcguire ...

Well it is our last day in Venice today.....getting ready for our New Year's Eve, as you all will be. The number of tourists here has certainly risen since our arrival here last Friday, but I suppose that is to be expected. There has been mild flooding in San Marco square the last few mornings due to very high tides...we even walked " the planks " the other morning, just because we could Hopefully it won't be too bad tomorrow morning when we have to pull ...
