Our guide was an interesting man, a retired teacher who lived in a back to back house in his childhood and genuinely enjoyed sharing his experience in living in these very small and congested homes. We all agree that this was an very interesting tour and made a very nice change from visiting manor houses, castles and other fine buildings and provided an insight into how the less fortunate lived.
