... least that's how I like the think of him. Some of you may have read about this gentleman in my Facebook postings. I asked him if he knew when Greenpeace intended to come down. He shrugged and said they hadn't yet mentioned that. He went on to cheerfully talk about how their demonstrations worked and how they had scaled the walls. A bicyclist happened by, laughed, and asked how the demonstrators had ...
Canterbury, Kent, United Kingdom peggydavis... at the moment so i won't go wake him up to write anything! We hope to update this blog as often as we can, but just don't know how often that will be yet, but please don't worry if we don't update in a while, it just means we are out on safari in the middle of nowhere!

New Experience #9: Being asked for directions by "the tourists" and actually being able to help them -- makes me feel O-so-very-superior. In reality, the way I learned my way around was by letting myself wander all over and get lost now and then.
New Experience #10: Walking in the steps of Roman soldiers, medieval knights and Charles Dickens.
... to eat off of it - i've been watching them for EVER..... any how butternut squash, chicken and rice was very nice thank you. Mid afternoon banana lacked a little something but again filled the tummy.
Mummy got home, woke me up and tried to offload a days worth of milk in one sitting....... she won't be getting cuddles for a while.
... remains of a much larger Church that was never finished off. Inside you can see damage caused by Oliver Cromwells men back in the 17th century. Thankfully they sucked because the place still stands.
Further south, we stopped for lunch at Southwold, a very popular seaside resort favored by old people. The pier had a weird placed called the "Pier Under The Sea Show", full ...
... br>...arriving at Heathrow from Singapore, I didn't want my fun to end, so in the car home myself and Helly hatched a plan. We would tour the British Isles on a whim. No plan, no real ideas, just throw the bikes and tent in the car and go, just see the country we had grown up in.

I'm hoping I can celebrate hitting quarter of a century by winning big in one of the casinos, if not then a night at a show and some cocktails will be fine. 4. To spend the ...
Ashford, England, United Kingdom lucyb1983ukWell we have been here over a week. We are finding our way around thanks to our TomTom. Steve is a pro at driving on the wrong side of the road. I am going to try to keep some kind of flow with these entries but I am sure to go off on crazy tangents as we are discovering new and crazy things by the minute. Turkey day was Thursday. Initially we invited Beth and a guest of her choosing. By Monday our numbers had ...
Ramsgate, United Kingdom theskinners... I ask for directions... and they speak English... YES! I'm developing a bit of an itinerary for my time here in England. I think I may go to Brighton for the weekend... I've heard the nightlife is good down there. This week, I may go to Cambridge for a day. I have since lost Dave's (Bristol... met on Vietnam tour) email address so I'm hoping to get it off Intrepid. The following weekend, I'm going out to Wales to visit James' farm. Can't wait. I'm loving my time here in England so far.
Cheam, United Kingdom shanewilson... of English pubs and last but not least, it has a second hand bookshop which is closed on Mondays.
My trip to Hastings was an English course, and it would have been a lot of fun if the average age of the students hadn't been 14 (I was 20). They tolerated me, true, but I didn't enjoy binge drinking late at night at the beach with them. I wanted to chat with people from abroad and travel.
During this 3-week stay ...
