... is rather steep and at such high altitude my poor little low powered Transalp was struggling to catch the three bikers ahead. I had her throttle wide open but she just did not seem to want to pull very much and only then does one realize just how steep these pass roads really are.
Finally I'm behind them and all four of us head on up the pass as a group. At the summit I stopped and they continued down the twisty section below the summit making for good photographs.
... sadly not anymore.... at least for me. The Weather was absolutely perfect and Bianca and myself had a good time relaxing in those higher elevations. A couple days ago I made an Bicycle tour in the Black Forrest going up and around the "Schluchsee" it is a beautiful ride among the hills going true the Black forrest in Southern Germany just across the Rhine river from Rümikon where my Mother and also my sister and Brother in Law are living..... ...

... week were discussed as we walked through the peaceful village of Rappersville. Where we end up will depend on the weather. Apparently it will be sunny in the south so that's where we decided to head in the morning. This turned out to be a great choice!
By the end of the week we brushed the border of Lichenstein, spent a night in Italy and two more nights on a park bordering Austria....we actually hiked over the pass to eat a picnic lunch in Austria ...
Quick entry to reflect a lunch stop in Liechtenstein. This tiny country is most famous for selling postage stamps, and the fact that almost every European tour operator includes a few minutes here so they can boast of another country visited. Now that I think about it, maybe that 's what we did :-)
