Ahoy mateys!

... Island but we decided to stay on board and catch a few rays. Today we've docked at Nassau and we've ventured off the boat to have a little look around! From the ship we can see the Atlantis hotel - but we've already visited the Dubai version so its not that special!

Overnight we're sailing to Great Stirrup Cay which is a beach privately owned by the cruise line.

Anyway, we're off to enjoy the sunshine.

Ta da!

SHTY DEAL

... of help and advice on the dock of various options to empty the head. We were given a bottle of muriatic acid although no one agreed that this would be beneficial to the new unit we just installed. The obvious and compelling conclusion by all was, No. 1 - we had a clog in the line and No. 2 (pardon the pun) no one really wanted to help on that issue! Altho everyone sympathized with our plight. We sat in the cockpit going over in ...

BLOWIN' IN THE WIND AT WARDERICK

... re looking at ENE to E winds 19-25 kts with higher gusts until next Tuesday then it'll start to moderate down to 14-20 kts which is going to seem mild. Seas are 8-10. I'm not sure we'll leave Warderick much before Monday and then we'll head for Hawksbill . At least the winds are staying easterly because all the anchorages down here are on the western shores. By hanging around here we can get internet to get the long ...

Wind Waves and Water

Living on a boat you'd expect to get a bit wet but it's actually something we try and avoid unless we are actually swimming but this week we've had no hope. After leaving the Turks and Caicos we made an overnight run to Rum Cay (very pretty but quiet) and then a day sail the next to try and reach George Town before a series of bad weather fronts set in. The trip from Rum Cay to George Town was lively but no problem for Bella, the hard part was getting thru the cuts between the ...

Captn Dave get rescued by a beautiful French woman!!!! Anchor held and we were now in 15.5' of water. Dave got in the dinghy, started the engine and headed out to pick up the cushion and to find the oar. By this time the ...

The Beautiful Bahamas

... happens, so its all good and we're off..  We get in the elevator and he goes on to tell me he's going to miss me, that im very special and that when I go back to Australia I should tell them Im VERY special... well i think the penny dropped at about that time and I started to worry just a little. He went on to say he wanted to come to Australia and visit sometime... Well that was enough for me to shoot out of the elevator like a rocket when the ...

We went to go for our excursion, snorkelling, but unfortunately due to a typhoon, a hurricane, and a WHIRLWIND it had been cancelled (actually it was simply too windy). So much to our dismay we were forced to continue lounging upon our tropical paradise. What a shame. *SIGH* After lounging for a while longer we headed back to ...
