... Milan in the 19th century. It is now home to a series of museums and art collections. We passed through the central courtyard to and wandered through the extensive Parco Sempione, stopping to get up close to some local wildlife. Afterwards we headed back into the retail district for a spot of shopping before mixing it with the rush hour traffic on the trip back past Lago di Como to Morbegno.
Up to Tre Rose for breakfast then Roger met Luca, his riding companion for the morning. They are riding up the mountain out of Nesso and back around. He has been looking forward to this ride. Exploring Nesso is on our list today. Nesso is a reasonable size village, we guess around 1000 maybe 1500 residents. Got to see Villa Balbianello from the ferry (as seen in Star Wars & Casino Royale) not bad for your holiday pad. Simone thinks she spotted George Clooney's wee home but is still waiting for her invite.
