After a peaceful few days in Fort Edward we moved on through Lock 6 and Lock 5, and we asked to tie up at Lock 4 where we intended to spend the night. ... out very ir had once before. We then drove up to get Otto's van, back down to load his and Milo's boats, and then off for a dinner in town. After dinner, Otto headed to Stewart's for ice cream for Milo - but got lost - while I went to Stewart's for gas and ended up meeting them there. I only got gas.

It was a lovely way for the last paddling excursion of the season - sadly only my second!

This will be the first year I am helping move my little (but taller) brother into his dorm at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. My family has been to his campus at least a half dozen times, however, I have been unable ...
