    We were supposed to take the cable cars and cog wheel train to Alpspix and Zugspitz for Adrian's birthday but it snowed overnight and both mountains were covered in cloud. We had to come up with a plan B and found the very pretty town of Mittenwald was close by. The buildings in this part of Bavaria are painted with murals which is quite different to other areas.     ... lanes but no ways was I standing here forever and so I began my attack on this jam.

    I moved across all the lanes and got between the 3rd and 4th lanes and started making my way up this big steep hill. As per usual in Germany most of the other drivers are great and will move over to let a biker through.

    It took me about 8 or 9 minutes to reach the summit of this hill and was hoping to see ahead what was causing all this congestion, however all I could see was miles ...
