Well where do I start with Innsbruck! How about ... This place rules! You hop off the train and you're surrounded by mountains and snow and happy people and laughter and beautiful blond women AND beer. A very sad day

We woke up this morning to the news that our very dear friend Mark Hatt passed away yesterday afternoon, after a long battle with lung cancer. The world has lost a very, very good man, and our hearts go out to his wife, our dear friend Jennifer Alsop, his children, Alex, one of Elizabeth's best friends, and three year old Ben, and all of his family and friends.

    Mark was a ...

... about 40 minutes. Neuschwanstein, as is probably known by you disneyphiles out there, was the inspiration for the disneyland castle. The interior is covered in paintings and sculptures that depict various tales from the operas of Richard Wagner, a 19th century german composer.

Ludwig wasn't very good at politics or diplomacy but was very creative and artistic and managed all aspects of the design of his castle. Eventually the people around ...
