There is a Medal of Honor Memorial Garden just down the street. After shopping, we brought daddy back to the hotel so he could rest. Then Bob went to Walmart while mom & I went to Save-a-Lot and Dollar Tree. When we returned to the hotel, we finished the game of dominos we had started this ...

... paid for a $70 Texas State Park pass. This pass waives the entrance fees to the parks, which can be up to $7 per person in addition to the camping fees. The camping fees were $26 per night. We would have stayed longer but they were sold out for the weekend. The park is just a one hour drive from Ft. Worth.
