... to this lake/water
park/amusement park - surprising the boys. It was huge - really huge - and super clean, and about an hour and half away - so not too far. The boys road roller coasters all day long and we left sun-drenched and tired and fulfilled. We stopped in this cute little town on the way home and had a wonderful pizza.

... Calalzo for Cortina by bus (about an hour). After a nice amble through the town from the bus stop the uphill commenced. Lunch was at a quaint woodcutters hut in bright sunshine. Onwards and upwards for 4 hours before reaching our first Rifugio (Croda da Lago). This was a beautiful setting by a lake.
