We take the furnicular up to the castle and climb to the top of the lookout. And we spend a lot of time in cafes. Just people watching. ... as Rox had a lovely sleep and I updated Blogs. It had just turned into twilight by the time we reached Ljubljana. I had printed off the Hostelworld directions and a pretty crude map so we attempted to find out way to our accommodation for the night. Our travel from Kobarid to Ljubljana was picturesque but very windy because we followed the Soca River Valley. So the motorway presented as respite for the driver.Having visited the world war 1 museum in Kobarid before we left, we had a later start. Didn't know what to expect in Slovenia hadn't heard much about it, so was pleasantly surprised...what a beautiful place.
