... of Slovenia and a city I'd never heard of until looking at it on my itinerary a few days ago. It's small, but from my brief walk tonight it's beautiful. I had a solo dinner out, ate some goulash (deliious) and premurska gibanica (seriously, Google this it's amazing) and read my book for an hour. ... made our way to the Tivoli park, the largest park in Ljubljana but actually really not all that big, and she played in the playground whilst I.....fell asleep and almost fell forward off of the park bench, I just caught myself in time. Then we walked around the park before I decided there was sufficient time left to go to the bus station to buy tickets back to Zagreb tomorrow. 2014 Sept. 12 - Friday

Rather than provide a lot of boring and mundane details, I'll do my best to provide an abbreviated description of the trip to Slovenia, as it was much the same as so many others.
I left for the Munich Hbf at about 11:25 and found that it was raining fairly steadily. I decided to take the underground passage at the end of the block, and that worked well. I must have been on a homing beacon as I emerged from the underground ...

... We certainly felt like we were locals! We also happened to be in the city at the same time EuroBasket was happening - Vanessa was on the lookout for Jose Calderon the entire time but the closest we got was running into the Ukrainian team in Vintgar Gorge.
