... to go in one of the countless beautiful spas fed by waters heated by the volcano, but we decided to give it up after we saw the astronomical prices: with the money that we would have spent for a couple of hours at the spa, we will probably be able to live for three days in Nicaragua.
We found a hostel that didnīt cost a lot, by costarican standards, and it would have been a decent place to spend these two nights if it wasnīt for the unwanted souvenir that it gave us ...

... people and with the great back drop. So besides that we spent an awesome day at the beach learning how to surf (which is literally the funnest thing in world!) and just laying back and enjoying the awesome weather. I miss San Jose, and all of our awesome Costa Rican friends, but thankfully we have been blessed with Randall and Fresia who have opened their home to all of us the entire week. I am excited to work in the ...

I was meant to be doing my swims after all of this but Laura, who was going to be watching me do them, also had to do all of her skills for her staff instructor. Day 30: I was meant to be doing some fun diving today, which I was actually quite looking forward to because I've only been doing course stuff. So it would have been nice just to do some looking around rather than having to concentrate on loads of stuff! Unfortunately once I'd set up all of my gear it turned out that we now had too many people on the boat so I had to go back to the shop instead. Tomorrow I have search and recovery, the last one! ...

... etc and it made it so much more fun. We would have kept going back many many more times but we didn’t want Amanda to be just sitting there the whole time bored so we moved on. I would have loved to go more though because they were seriously the funnest water slides I have ever been on. Soon it was time to leave and we went back to the hotel and went to bed. Amanda and I are going to have an early morning since we have to meet our shuttle at 5:45am.
