If the cranes didn't work the next step was going to be to call in the Argentine military and use tanks. A testament to the size of the truck and how deep it was stuck. ... then that was the prospect that we would also have to walk all the way back down!! Aware of this, we trekked on and continued on our mission to the top of Cero Otto! Luckily as we got closer to the top I saw the "cable cars"!!! Yayyy we were saved, suddenly climbing to the top did not seem so hard as we would not have to spend another 4 hours trekking back down!! Note to self : big difference between cable cars and ski lifts!!! We made it to the top... very ...
