We traveled to Antigua only to mount the bikes that awaited us to cross around the city. The ride brought us to a square where the locals did their laundry, a church, and a macadamia farm. The next day a long walk awaited us, a walk over the Pacaya volcano, where the lava was so close to the surface you could roast marshmallows at some point in the mountain.
