They did not believe us at first, but once we explained that this is an annual event they told us they would also like to go.

We exchanged notes about local activities in Puerto Madryn and had a good old chin wag, a nice way to start the day.

Once packed up with our lunches and sunscreen we were off on the road again, this time heading 180kms south to Punta Tombo, taking us around 2 ½ hours.
