A travel blog entry by raichies on Jul 11, 2014

... 18 days with a British our company called Tucan Travel. Haven't been with them before so fingers are crossed that all will go well. Thus, I'm heading out now. Have to fly to JFK and then Heathrow, London. Then, I'll be switching airports, and staying overnight at Gatwick. The next day, Sunday, I'll fly to Budapest where my tour starts. Fortunately, I've been there before, as we leave quite early Monday morning for Serbia. So Ciao for ...

The weather was lovely, much like winter days in Sydney. Most people were in pants and jumpers but quite a few were in shorts and t-shirts. The days weren't too cold but in the evening it got much cooler.

That evening we ended up at Mrs Knotts Chicken Dinner Restaurant. We ordered the family roast chicken dinner which consisted of a soup for starters then 2 roast chickens, ...

... which was a very simple process, unpacked all of our bags, turned around and it was gone, no goodbye, nothing! From the hire car lot we got the shuttle to the airport, checked all of our luggage in and were then able to relax and wait. We had a bite to eat and a couple of beers and watched the planes taking off while waiting for our flight. Everyone had a great time, and even though we are excited to head home, we are already thinking about the next ...
