It was funny to read my flight information for the route between Fiji and Los Angeles: Departure was on July 16th at 10.00pm and the expected arrival time on the same day (July 16th) at 1.20pm. No this was not a mistake, but the result of crossing the international dateline from west to east. I was now travelling back in time ;-). Sadly, today we were leaving San Diego bound for Los Angeles, or more specifically, Buena Park, Los Angeles. We were travelling from hotel to hotel on the 'Lux Bus' and weren't getting picked up until 11.30am so we had some time up out sleeves.
We decided to do a bit a laundry before repacking our gear and heading down for breakfast. Yet another cooked breakfast to help contribute to the expanding waistline.

... back to LA, 15 hours to Hong Kong and then 5 more to Seoul. Turn around and head south to Singapore 6 hours before 13 more hours home to Heathrow total 61 hours plus the mysterious loss of 24 hours now the real total is 86 hours, Jules Verne's eat your heart out.

... 5.5hours to the mainland. I stretched out and slept mostly whilst Ben drank enough of the inclusive booze to ensure he got his money's worth for the pair of us!
A shuttle to the airport, a bit of kip on the 10hour flight and we were soon touching down in the U.S. of A. Mr Obama came out to welcome us to his land..well sort of...there was a nice picture of him in the corridor to the baggage reclaim anyway..
