      Very nice hotel. Cozy rooms and a beautiful view. It also has a ease access to the beach by chair lift.

      ... si vubec niceho jineho nevsimali. Po priblizne 2.30 hodinach a dvou menších plážich pres ktere jsme prosli jsme dorazili na Lopes Mendez. Krásna, asi 2-3 kilomentry dlouha a ne velice zalidnena plat. Nasli jsme si místo ve stínu a jen jsme relaxovali a divali se do more. Bylo hrozne vedro a pisek byl velice horky, ale moře bylo studene. Povedlo se nam dojit do vody jenom po stehna, a vedeli jsme ze dal uz nejdem. Tak jsem si cetla knizku a Femi ...

      ... but basically we wanted to jump right into the ocean once we arrived at the actual Lopes Mendez beach as we were pouring with sweat! It was all worth it. We could hear the roaring waves before we could see the beach and once we cleared the jungle trek (practise for the amazon!) all we could see was pure white sand and clear blue water. Paradise found. So for the next couple hours we sun bathed and relaxed and the whole gang reunited ...

      ... destination. We're running out of water. We come to a small god sent oasis. Yiew. Within seconds Shaun's stripped off and about to jump in. I say to Shaun, "hey shaun are you a mermaid?" And he turns his head and says 'MERMAN!' And gracefully drives into the water. At the end there was a deserted beach. Yep, you guessed it. He's swimming with the turtles already.       ... too strong to swim in so i decided to take a walk along the entire beach which stretched for some 3 km blocked on either side like chess board castles by huge sea worn boulders.Black headed vultures took to the early morning thermals and lingered,swirling over head looking to dive bomb any unsuspecting sand crabs that may have left their little holes in the sand.I decided to do a bit of bathing,plunging myself into the cool Atlantic current.I had not bought a towel with me ...
