Very nice hotel. Cozy rooms and a beautiful view. It also has a ease access to the beach by chair lift.

Got up early to check out a surfing beach "Lopez Mendes" that was a 2 hour trek away. Was a nice walk through the forest where we bumped in to a squirrel on the way. Really nice views of Abraao & neighbouring bays were spread across three main hills. The beach was beautiful, much resemblance of a New Zealand beach setting. White squeaky sand & clean rolling waves. Although it was a little disappointing there were so many people here, i had hoped it would be a little ...

We were on the back of the bus and the air-con water was dripping on Shaun's face and I said "you want a towel?" and he's like "na it's okay, I quite like it". I'm like wtf, weird boy. Blue sky, not a cloud insight. Perfect day for a trek to the peak of the island. Before we left the owner ...

Breakfast, in James' words, was one of the best we've had, a mixture of British, Brazilian and European! We filled our boots so that lunch would be too much of ...

... God was emptying endless bath tubs on the island.I took refuge on a bleak looking veranda in a locals bar,big mistake on my part, but there was nothing for it,the rain was that heavy. The entire village power had been cut and all the light I could see was from the bar I was at,straining out on its diesel generator. The place was full of the local village drunks, wrong place ,wrong time.I just knew, sensed, something was going to happen,I was the only tourist there which did not ...
