They're like repellant schmellant. Nom nom nom. We definitely made the most of it at Ilha Grande, first a pointless, all day trek. Followed by a night of Caprihanas that put us to sleep till midday. The last sunny day left, we used it by relaxing inside our hostel. Should of went on a lagoon ...

Ilha Grande is a secret gem that everybody should try and get to if they have the opportunity. It's ...
... Brazilian fair but hey you are not coming here for the food
What to do
cruise - definitely recommended at the best way to see the islands
surrounding Angra. Boat cruises are available or you can negotiate with a
local boat and make your own itinerary
Snokeling in the bay - excellent visibility due to the crystal clear waters
Watch the amazing sunsets
