Very nice hotel. Cozy rooms and a beautiful view. It also has a ease access to the beach by chair lift.

... turu pesky.

... lethal local drink, made up of a lot of vodka, ice and lime. Strong ****. Mossies cover the island and their bites cover my legs. Mossies are just so frickashrickafrickafricka. The last sunny day left, we used it by relaxing inside our hostel. Should of went on a lagoon boat trip ...

... bit of a mission just trying to get installed. The Lonely Planet had sold us a dud by recommending a campsite that had ceased to exist some four years before, and in trying to find it we´d got pretty overheated and frought. Plus we had the embarrassment of having to walk back past the guy who we´d shrugged off trying to tell us it had closed down on the way in as what was surely just an invention ...

We took a city bus to the port and a 2 hour ferry out to Ilah Grande. A beautiful tropical island in the middle of rain season. Probably not our best move but it was on the way to Rio so we stopped. It is a rather large island. On our first day we arrived late afternoon and after making our trek up a mountain with our packs we decided to explored the little village. There were several little shops where i managed to find a dress and an ilah grande shirt. Later we ...
