One of the more interesting aspects of this type of adventuring is not knowing on any given day what is going to be taken on next. We have tonight's and tomorrow nights accommodation booked here but absolutely nothing else until we hit Paris on the last few days of this month so will be making it up as we go along. All of that gave me great energy for swimming with Papa in the evening. The museum of ancient artifacts was very interesting. Nan says she can't believe that such a powerful civilization lived here more than 3000 years ago. But they ...

The ferry ride wasn't too bad, although it went for 4 hours and we had to sit in the middle because our assigned seats weren’t together. But we found some in the end and eventually made it to Santorini at about 8pm where we got a long taxi ride from the port to our hotel in Oia which is at the very top of the island.

    Once at the hotel ...
