Well ... What can be said about Santorini? It is the most visually stunning place I think I've seen ... Well maybe some of the sights in New Zealand compare for natural beauty, but this is an amazing island.

I woke up to a fine and sunny day, as predicted by 'Giuseppe' off I went to the pick up point for the tour.

... There were a couple holes with hot air coming out of them, though otherwise this trip was for the exercise and photo opportunities.

On the way to the hot springs (Marina coined them, the “Freezing” Springs, because they are no longer very hot at all) we met an older couple from Britain – Barbara & Tom. Jen prepared for swim time in the hot springs, although I decided (aka “Chickened Out” as Jen told ...

... In the morning Laura dropped Jess at the bus stop so she could get a ferry to Ios to catch up with other friends from Tassie. The rest of us jumped back on our quads and drove to Kamari beach, where we snuck into the private hotel section and claimed some sun beds and umbrellas for free. We were there for ages, the water was incredible and no one asked us to move. Planes landing in Santorini airport flew just over our heads but other than that it was very peaceful. That arvo ...
