    Once all aboard we headed off to a winery for a Greek lunch and dancing. Lunch was great with some predictable Greek salads, but also some local foods such as a bean dish similar to humus that is grown & made locally and tomato fritters made from local tomatoes and of course local wine.     ... our greek family was no fun at all. The entire hostel staff had been amazing. Villa Manos, just outside of Fira - GO THERE! Poppy and her husband gave us a bottle of red wine and sent us on our way with Tolis to catch our ferry. Instead of the 6 hour ferry, we decided to take the 2 hour ferry back to Crete. Man, that Flying Cat 4 was fast. Let's just say that A LOT of people on that boat were feeling the sea sickness.....

    ... the live music. Frankly the girls were terrible, but the gentleman was not half bad. Jen hit on him as Brad claimed intoxication and sore calves from the hike, therefore wouldn’t peel himself from his chair.     ... car but I decided to walk up, I really enjoyed it, but it's the smelliest path I've ever walked because off all the mess from the donkeys. I'll catch the cable car down.
