They had a couple of taxi scammers hanging around the Acropolis but we got back to the Hilton and decided to hit up the Lounge to see if they had the evening snack out. They were just putting them out so we gobbled them up and by we I mean me.

We went down to the Sixt desk and she gave us a VW Passat, which was pretty nice. The navigation they give you ...

this area on our free days.

When we reached Cape Sounion we went on a short hike to the
summit, marked by the ruins of the Temple of Poseidon. Big columns, carved with the names of

Sunday was our Sounio day--finally! After getting around five hours of sleep, we again were waiting for the bus around 1240. This time, though, we got on. And oohh, were we glad that we got on this bus. Christina had figured out that two buses went back and forth--one taking the coastal route, and one going inland. We figure the woman that told us to get off on Saturday--well, we don't really know. But we think she wanted to make sure we took the coastal ...

... a small mixed salad (that could of fed 6), fried prawns. All good but the prawns were tiny and fried whole with shells and all. They were pretty good but difficult to eat so ended up eating a lot of shells. It is common in Europe to get whole small fish, whole prawns deep fried and served shells, eyes, tails and all. Just not used to eating prawns that way, well not fried and whole.
