Yesterday was a lot of fun. We went to another Cacho (waterfall)/swimming hole. I was already pretty tired and it was a solid hike so I didn't go in the water and Charles (Tila's boyfriend and a Chapada guide) and I just sat down and smoked together while listening to Jimi Hendrix on my Bluetooth speaker while the girls swam. After the hike back, we went into town to grab food to grill ...

... best day in Vale do Capão for me. The views were incredible! I earned a few nicknames this day including: gringo loco, crazy frog, and crazy Jordan. I was given these names by different people from our huge group because I was a bit of a daredevil, I guess. ... t allowed to swim in this one though. It was discovered by hunters in 1940 and the water is 60 meters deep! I must have slept in the van on the way to the caves because I don't remember driving so much. It took us 3 hours to get back to Vale do Capão. Once we were back I decided to take it easy at my hostel in order to prepare for another long day tomorrow. Time to shower and ...

... 227;o Dos Gatos, a waterfall/swimming hole. Unfortunately, it rained the entire day so I didn't feel much like swimming. The view was great though and it was fun to walk around in the water and on the rocks. Then, we headed to some local farm to eat lunch. It was incredible; maybe the best food I've eaten since I've been in Brazil. Everything, aside from the beef, was grown and prepared on the farm. There was rice, ...

... arrived to Lencois we knew we are somewhere special. Seriously, if you are reading this blog and planning a trip to Brazil, it will be a big mistake not to come here. It is a small beautiful town, very very clean surrounded by breath-taking nature. We stayed at a hotel Lavramor owned by an Israeli married to a Beazilian woman. You see that they put a lot of energy to make sure their guests are happy. They gave us tons of advice on where to go and how to organise it. Really cool people! ...
