112 miles from Charleston to Hilton Head. We had a night free before Orlando so we decided to spend it at Hilton Head Island. It's quite high end, very manicured and perfect. Hilton head
Today is a day of R&R after all the tours and walking we have been doing. We had a chintzy continental breakfast (we were spoiled at the other place) then headed to Coligny Beach. The sand was like powder, the water was warm and fishy. We took a nice stroll and relaxed for awhile. The birds spotted were: Pelicans, gulls, Piping Plovers and an osprey. Buster's Beach Extravaganza
... a delicious breakfast. I had to pack all of Elizabeth's toys in the wagon to go down to the beach. Next we put up the tent to keep my precious fur from burning.
While I took a little snooze, Elizabeth went down to play in the beautiful, bright blue water. All that resting made me thirsty, so after a few minutes I grabbed a nice cold Diet Dr. Pepper from the blue cooler.
