... they are few and far between. Still annoying however!!! Yesterday, we went to the Stone Museum in Mosedus. This was started by a geologist who carried his passion for stones to his own home. There are all sorts of stones, even some from under the sea, as well as statues and monuments all made of stone. ... It was fantastic, but huge! We were there for several hours and really only saw about half! Skoudas had changed in 10 years - or maybe I have only ever seen it covered in snow! On a critical note: there was a little too much electronic music going on at the festival, and not enough live music making. And for some reason, each main sponsor found it necessary to have its very own DJ-stage, which resulted in four loud stages blaring bad music without an audience side-by-side. ... many paintings on the outside too. From there we walked to the bridge over the canal which is a split bridge, but the two halves swivel in different directions! This was interesting to see although sadly it wasn't being opened at the time. Following the canal back towards the main town we cut in to Karosta Prison.
