Luxury
It is amazing how quickly one becomes accustomed to luxury. By the time Mum and Dad arrive, all beaming familiar smiles and happiness, we were still excited by the various poses we could strike on our balcony lounger, surprised by people stopping what they were doing and holding doors open for us, delighted at being able to control the temperature in our mosquito-free room. The restaurant in the hotel had a small grill inn the middle of the table where they placed spares with different kinds of meat. We got our fill of meat and beer only to head back home for a heavy nights sleep, knowing that the following day would be filled with things to see.
