8inches+ over night on Wednesday left us with a snow day for night, and the prospect of lots of sledging,. Each day the snow gets harder (icier) and the sledging faster ... nick actually broke his bum on Friday going over a bump without seatbelt or airbags. Clearing the drive almost killed us. We leave for Brazil tomorrow morning, and while Santa may not be coming, the anticipation is like a child on Christmas Eve. Visions of acerola and rice and beans dance through my head. This will be my fourth mission in Brazil and it is no less exciting.

    We will be traveling ...

    Exploring the Federal Triangle

A travel blog entry by sarahelbadawy on Apr 15, 2013

... and from there I made my way down Pennsylvania Avenue. I saw the Old Post Office Pavillion and walked around that for a while. I passed by the FBI building and the Hard Rock Cafe. I stopped at a gift shop on the way to Ford's Theater and bought 3 postcards and a Washington DC pin for myself. From there I walked a little further to Ford's Theater. I saw it from the outside, as well as the building that Lincoln died in. I took photos from the outside but didn't queue up to enter. ...
