Mouth searing curries, dazzling Bollywood blockbusters, incense wafting through the window and cricket blaring from every TV in town? We must be in India! Namaste everyone, Well, after two weeks in China, we have finally arrived in Delhi to begin our three-week Rajasthan Adventure, that will take us in a north-western loop around Jaisalamer, Jodhpur, Udaipur and Agra. Last time you heard from us we were just about to tackle the Great Wall, so let's backtrack a bit. BEI-ZING (CONTINUED): First...
Delhi, India cc_world_tourWell we have gotten a lot more comfortable today..it's amazing how quickly you adjust! We had potato curry and jam toast for breakfast..odd combination i know! and then headed to the new hotel to meet our tour group. This hotel isn't as nice as the last one but i could be a lot worse. We are the youngest in our group of 8 and it was quite funny when we realised we couldn't drink with them as the law is 25+ here! Apparently they don't enforce it though. Our group leader seems nice as does ever...

Shares of Delhi-based Parsvnath Developers zoomed 16% on Wednesday puzzling analysts who had expected that a lower than-planned fundraising via qualified institutional placement (QIP) could affect the stock.

Till today, when I ask Denis for a response, neither he not anyone
else returns my calls.
In any case, I've moved out so I don't get reinfected in the
Cumberland, and since I'm on day 3 of Tamiflu I'm feeling much better.
My warning, don't stay at the Cumberland, the service is terrible, and they're infected with Swine Flu, especially if you're over 50, be careful!
... cream here, I was not interesting in eating any more than necessary to avoid being rude on the man's birthday. After the meal, we went into the clinic and saw many patients. I really liked going here and will try to go back as much as I can in the future.
Yesterday after volunteering, I went to the mall with some of the other volunteers to see a Bollywood film called New York, about a suspected terrorist in New York after 9/11. The film was long (2 1/2 hours ...
... B2 was. He waved us to follow him in the direction we were already walking. We walked all the way to the end of the train, but still no B2. There was an A1, A2, and a B1, but B2 was no where to be found. We climbed into B1 hoping that maybe the people inside would be able to send us in the right direction, but nobody spoke English. We decided that John and I would wait in B1 with our backpacks and Matt would run the opposite direction and see if he ...
Delhi, India mattarah... of Lucca, maybe the city fathers should look into the quality of local restaurants and their pricelists. Maybe they should look at who is eating those dratted doner kebabs - even if they are being made by Turks and Arabs, they certainly aren't being ...
Delhi, India zameensandeep... really cool. Everyone said, "Oh, I heard you were coming back!" and greeted me with giant smiles and warm handshakes or sort of half hugs (they are mostly men, or boys, after all. Not proper for full hugs). It's great to get out of the cab, have a feeling of where I'm headed, jet down a filthy urine and garbage-strewn twisting alley in the pitch black smog and see the sign of the hotel that I know I have a reservation at. It's really fun to be back. I ...
New Delhi, India andreasolo... it or not, Alone will be something you'll be quite a lot. And when you're alone, there's a very good chance you'll meet things that scare you right out of your pants. There are some, down the road between hither and yon, that can scare you so much you won't want to go on. But on you will go though the weather be foul On you will go though your enemies prowl On you will go though the Hakken-Kraks howl Onward up many a frightening creek, though your arms may get sore and ...
Delhi, India inoursuitcase... gaps to overtake. At 4.15 p.m. we encountered one such convoy of military trucks and tanks essentially parked along the roadside but taking up more than half of our lane. Half an hour later, we encountered even more military soldiers on the road side with less than 70 km distance to Amritsar. All the while we had been driving on the road connecting Agra to Kabul. But the road split now and we continued on to Pathankot instead of Amritsar.
