Lunch in the ruins of Ephesus! Can you imagine. One of the hotels catered a lunch for us, right there. We ate olives, grape leaves, sandwiches, and fresh fruit. I don't like the grape leaves, but I really enjoyed the olives. I had a chocolate eclair for dessert. It was really delicious. Dinner. ...

For lunch we went to a place up in the hills where I had the best chicken soup I’ve even had in my life. I’m not even kidding. We were trying to figure out how to take it with us. It probably had something to do with the fresh chickens running around the yard.

... Hotel on the edge of the Aegean Sea for the next two nights - it's a beautiful hotel and our group is on the top floor. We each have a balcony overlooking the sea - actually if you look down from the balcony, you can rocks and plants under the water. We arrived in time to watch the beautiful sunset, which occurs around 5:00pm. Tomorrow we will visit Ephesus and Mary's house. ...
