    ... Gronergrat .It is at 3100 feet, very thin air , very exhilarating. It is the closest you can get without climbing the Matterhorn (which Noel was seriously contemplating how we could fit that in also ). Air crisp , sun out, snow everywhere.     ... amp; colder. Finally reached the peak and it wasn't too cold. Went to the highest glacier palace in the world where there were pretty ice sculptures. But the most fun thing we did that day was definitely snow tubing at the peak. Basically we sit in this float/plastic thing and the guy spins out down a slope.     ... of blue sky showing. So incredibly bright up there! Jeff managed to get a little bit higher again by climbing some rocks that were up the top. Lovely views everywhere and he even spotted a couple of Marmot the varmits.
