We had planned to trek up to one of the lakes above Zermatt today, but when we woke up the weather was still raining from last night and the clouds were low which would mean little visibility. Finding a ski instructor for Emme and Mia has taken some time as even though Zermatt guarantees 365 days of skiing, October is still considered summer skiing and the ski schools are all closed.
