What was meant to be a 3-4 day stopover in Sihanoukville quickly turned into a full week here.Our friend Phil, who we met in Vang Vieng, Laos... and then ran into in Phnom Penh.. decided to come join us and our beachside relaxation morphed into beachside drinkfest (sorry mom.) There is one main 'party' beach called Serendipity and it's lined with outdoor bars and clubs, serving draft beer at $0.50 and everything else relatively cheaply as well. We timed it, and figured that you can't go more than about 3 minutes between being asked to buy something. There is no particular one that stands out. Every night that I was in town I bar hopped. I had some really good nights dancing to cheesy pop.
