... for just plain wrong. It didn't matter though and we never felt unsafe- the sheer quantity of excitable friendly faces, waving kids and kind people dying to help us was amazing and our faith in Indonesian people completely restored after the experiences at the horrific bus terminal earlier that day. We never did find the Italian place but we didn't really care much after that, we found a rock bar complete with jamming house band (and beer!) that sealed the night off nicely.

After traveling the world with 40 fellow Harvard grads, the official part of the Asia trek is now over. Lucky for me, I still have a quick trip to Hong Kong to look forward to. The journey exceeded my expectations and I learned more than I could have ever imagined. I will return to the US with dozens of new friends and a fresh interest in the developments of Asia.

... was closed, so we went back to the pempek place we had went to before with Laila. Rick and Jake had the pempek while I ate the tekwan (clear broth, not as spicy).
It was smoldering hot again, and eating spicy food wasn't helping that situation. --It is getting hotter, I assume because the rainy season is officially over and we are getting deeper into the dry season -- From eating we went to the mall and roamed ourselves right into the arcade where we spent playing ...
