We found the beach! Finally, after driving for days, we reached St. Augustine and our hotel on St. Augustine beach. Actually, we stayed on Anastasia Island, a barrier island just off the coast of St Augustine, the oldest town in the US. Thursday, November 27th was Thanksgiving in the US making it a long weekend so to be sure we had a campsite we booked until the 28th. We don't usually committ but we didn't want to end up in Walmart!!
