After a final walk around Key West to some of the famous tourist spots - Hemingway's house, end of Hwy A1A, and a picture at the Southern Most point in the continental US (just 90 miles to Cuba), we hit the road north. A stop at Biscayne Bay NP was a nice stop, and again we seemed to have the park to ourselves. Most of this park is also underwater, but we saw a few videos at the visitors center, and walked along a few of the boardwalks. We saw a ...

The history of the fort, the role it played in US history going back to the civil war, and the shear size and unbelievable construction of this building out in the middle of the ocean, made the visit very memorable. ... and I were waiting for the guys to finish, she hit her head in the cart AGAIN. Maybe she hasn't figured it out after all. I lost a record 12 balls, with 9 lost in the grass, so somebody will find them, just not me.

We all finished our golf and it was time to determine a winner. Tricia and I got 2 blind draws since there were just 2 in our group. We drew Bart and Charlie which got us close, but no cigar. The winners were Bob, ...

... night and save our money for better things.

The drive was long and as we got closer to Florida the traffic picked up. Lots of 5th wheels, travel trailers and giant RV's. Also lots and lots of big rig trucks. Then it starts to rain.....hard.....then thunder and lots of lightening. We were creeping along or stopped for about an hour and we only had 30 miles to go. Finally a small break in the weather and we are up to 35 ...
