... in town was ok, but not the best beach. It also got fairly cold in the evenings, so the beach window was limited. The first beach we tried was nice, but the water was full of seaweed which was gross. The next beach was much cleaner. Unfortunately though, everyone smokes so the beach is just covered with cigarette butts. A bit gross. We did have a few nice days relaxing on the beach though.

... a nice bar with view of the Black Sea and in supermarkets a 600ml stubbie is about 80 cents. Sozopol has an old and new town. In the old town there are ruins, yes more old stuff, but some of the ruins were only uncovered a couple of years ago when big seas were whipped up in a storm and some sand was washed away to reveal a BC kiln that still had pottery pieces inside it.
