Wow. Thick fog. Its a good job we've walked to Peas before, as you could barely see across the vinyards. In fact, the fog was spread right across the valley and hadn't budged by our return.
Drove south to Troyes, with the fog finally dispersing by the time we arrived. The historic centre was very different to the towns and villages around Broyes and further north to Reims.
... signs about skin infections caused by waterbird parasites and stomach infections from the water!!! We were going to stay a few days and use the bike trails, but decided to move on in the morning.
As we walked back from our stroll at about 5pm it started to rain. It then hammered down until about 4am!!
Woken up by loud hooting, turned out to be the travelling bread van on a Sunday morning!
Not a lot in Vouecourt, a fountain house and a very old church.
Our Next stop was Langres, it is a fortified hill town. Walk part of the walls.
We went through the longest tunnel on our journey, 4.8km through the canal summit between the Marne and the Saone rivers.

After being cooped up in the car for most of the day we headed straight out into the town which is famous for its medieval wooden-framed wonky houses.

Quite spectacular, Oliver not normally one for architecture was particularly keen with the camera. A short hop then took us to Troyes for the night......pizza and an early night......!
