... to discover that it is the home of the worlds largest Pyanska! We had no idea what this was but it turned out to be a large metallic easter egg which is traditional in the Ukraine. It was put up in Vegreville in the '70's to recognise the Ukranian people who settled the area. The Queen and Prince Philip visited it on their tour of Canada. ... get changed. He ended up waiting for 3 hours as the Emergency area was really busy tending to other people’s misfortunes. He eventually got looked after and we were soon on our way.

... sleeping sheet, adapter, backpack locks, flashlight, swiss army knife....and the list goes on. Thankfully I am lucky enough to have a super duper brother who works at MEC. Dave showed me all the gear, answered all my questions, put up with me as I tried on a thousand and one hiking boots and didn't end up buying a pair, and most importantly saved me almost 100$ with his staff discount!
