Exploring Olympia did not take very long, as there was one street, and not even a long street with some shops and restaurants on it. Once it started raining again, we stopped into a gyro store, and Cascade and Barton got gyros, while I just got some pita bread and tzaziki sauce. Then I made it back to ...

I forgot to mention that when we were booking in yesterday afternoon, an Australian lady who was checking out gave us her hop on hop off bus pass which was current until 12.40 today. We are both still hung over with tiredness this morning but decided we had to make the most of ...

The bus was waiting at the entrance to the docks so we didn't even have to find it. There was a blue route and a red route. We decided to do the red route ...

This morning we started our day at the Delphi site. First we walked down many steps to the Athena tholos. A tholos is a round temple. We then crossed the road to the agora (market), then the spiritual road, then up many stairs (that's a kind description) to the temple of Apollo. In front of the temple is the navela, a stone marking the centre of the world, because Apollo released two eagles - one to the west and one to the east and where they met was the centre. The Delphi site is the ...
