    ... back about 500 years before Christ, there were FOUR Games, which together made up the Pan Hellenic Games. The most important one, even back then was the Olympic Games, held every four years in Olympia. The second most important was the Pythian Games, named after the python and also held every four years, in Delphi. The other two were the Nemean Games, held every two years in Nemea and the Isthmanian Games, held every two years in Corinth.

    I forgot to mention that when we were booking in yesterday afternoon, an Australian lady who was checking out gave us her hop on hop off bus pass which was current until 12.40 today.     We went ashore about 9.00. It was strange to be back in a place where we had been 3 weeks before. While other passengers were trying to cram in Capri, Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii, we were going to take the hop on hop off bus. It cost $22.00 each but it was cheaper than the tours.
