... UP HILL on my way back, I treated myself to a strawberry gelato by the little harbor before trekking back...I don't think I ever had gelato in Italy and it was yummy! To me a cross between ice cream and Sorbet. ... we ended up there after dinner, three subway lines later, for sunset. I learned two important things my first day in Europe: (1) the world is incredibly difficult to navigate without internet access & (2) Kelly & I might as well have a stamp on our forehead that says "American" Overall, I really enjoyed Milan. Getting lost multiple times ended up being a blessing in disguise. We were able to see a lot of the city in the one day we had. Onto the next tomorrow AM, Praha! ...
