... amselartige Vögel, die meistens in einer grösseren Gruppe auftreten und nach Essen betteln, sind auf unserem aktuellen Campingplatz ziemlich zahlreich vorhanden. Normalerweise lungern sie um den Camper herum und machen komische Geräusche – das war's dann. Heute wurde einer mutig und hüpfte gleich in unseren Wagen rein. Als er uns bemerkte, erschrak er offenbar dermassen, dass er gleich auf den Boden kackte und davonflatterte.

OES Year 12 Surf Trip

Back to work for my final 3 weeks left at Mowbray, second day back and straight back into the trips.
Today a mini bus load of Year 12's headed down to Torquay which took about an hour and a half, and even though they are 17/18 year olds, they got just as excited as the year 8's :)

The Bellarine Peninsula is pretty much an extension of the Great Ocean Road but as it is a detour and not on the direct road from Melbourne, I'd say many people (tourists anyway) have missed it.
If anyone followed Seachange on the ABC 15 years or more ago, then they would recognise the town Barwon Heads on the Bellarine Peninsula as Seachange was filmed there.
