... s been practicing his golf skills on the upper deck by hitting the ball into a net - he reckons he's get good at it now - anyone fancy challenging him to a game? Maybe you could come and join us in the Bahama's :-) - Warmley golf course isn't sunny enough for us!
We've also tried our hand at a little bit of basketball - but neither of us are too good at it and the americans are showing us up!

... boat builders still enduring today. Although there are no descendants of Loyalists in the Exumas today, they can be found in the Abacos. Almost all the residents of MOW Cay can trace their roots back to Nellie Archer and Ben Albury. Nellie Archer visited MOW Cay to farm a plot of land her family owned and on hot days they would go to the beach ...
MARSH HARBOR, Bahamas takinbetz... the impeller to see if that solved the problem. However, down here the solution was to buy a new unit, complete, and take the old one, wrapped tightly in a baggie, stored back in the box of the new macerator and tucked into the deep bowels of the boat until returning to NSB for further work. The outcome will be a spare macerator. When you need one, you need one! However......we still were unable to effect a discharge. Dave had ...
MARSH HARBOR, Bahamas takinbetz... other, able to lend things, give advice and generally make people feel welcome in the area. As it's the end of the season and with the winds stopping a lot of people from moving over the last week or so, when it's time to go, there will be a flood of around 300 hundred boats all pouring out to the north. Elizabeth Harbour is quite large and has many anchorages so I'm not sure where we'll all squeeze in on the way up? Our next stop Nassau......
George Town, Bahamas bellavita... rolly tonight. Winds are 15-20 kts and with the tidal change we are bucking. Sitting in the cockpit I actually have a small blanket over my lap! I've gimbaled the stove to cook orzo and Dave is fighting the wind on the grill for the chicken. We overcame these wonderful obstacles and had a great dinner - albeit rolly. Life is Good - maybe not so much for the catamaran......! April 24, 2009 - Warderick at E 20-25 kts ...
WADERICK WELLS CAY, Bahamas takinbetz... asked if there was anything they could do to help, we told them no - we'd wait for the water. Before leaving they told us to call them on Ch 16 if we need anything - their boat's name is CANT. I bet they can! Around 3PM we gave it another shot and sprung off the sandbar. Came off it with such a force that our dinghy got cockeyed and came up on it's side and almost flipped. We were in 15.5' of water and ...
n, Bahamas takinbetzMarch 12-18, 2008 M: One day it occurred to us that it had been some time since the world had been afforded the spectacle of two people brave enough to sail to Europe on a cruise ship. The wait is over. Mike and Leslie have stepped up and accepted the challenge. L: Early explorations of the ship took us from our starboard aft cabin to the top of the crow's nest and down to Explorer's ...
Half Moon Cay, Out Islands, Bahamas thetravellog... We had mandatory pre-port orientation tonight but it should have been called a historical global studies meeting because practical advice was no part of the lecture. However we have another meeting tomorrow tonight and they will probably talk more practically then. We saw about five birds today and everyone freaked out and got so happy to see other life! It's a pretty funny site because we all get ...
