The market square is an urban ensemble with the two diagonally contiguous areas - the Salt Market and the square in front of St. Elisabeth's Church. Eleven streets lead to the market: two to each corner, two narrow lanes and an opened out side square, Kurzy Targ ("Chicken Market").

        Took the 3+ hour bus trip from Krakow to Wroclaw. Was truly amazed by the beauty of the Market Square. Enjoyed a couple of days wandering around the city and absorbing the sites.

        Now let's see if you can pronounce the city's name....
