          Snow in the rockies

          ... warmer climate. It may snow again tomorrow so we are anxious to drop down out of the snow area. It has been below freezing all day, however we went out to the Grande Prairie Heritage museum and what did I spy? An Amateur Radio antenna and yes inside was a ham station! It was an excellent museum and it was great to see a lovely display of period wedding dresses.

          ... north of Chetwynd to Cameron Lake to camp for the night. It is a really small campground beside the highway but very pretty. Our site was right beside the lake. There were a few other people there in a group, hunters we think.
          Today we drove to Hudson Hope, then back to Chetwynd, then to Tumbler Ridge, then back to Chetwynd, looking for moose. We saw three mule deer bucks and ...

          ... laugh at Toronto as to why they do not have a Terminal 2. I did some research and they used to, then Terminal 3 opened it was supposed to be a cargo facility but was demolished. Bags are packed and sitting ready for the cab @ 1pm The airport, can driver was given the wrong address by dispatch, but all is good. Owen managed to get a random bomb check!! He passed, phew!!! Arrived Calgary to sunshine, although looks like. Pretty good thunderstorm ...

          ... But we must get back to Salt Lake a few days before we leave as the car needs to be serviced, and we have a cracked windscreen to fix ( a stone on one of the detours for roadworks - we should probably sue!) Unfortunately Mick won't be there at that time, but we should be able to find our way around with Trish's help... She has an old friend staying at that time as well. It's really comforting to have a bit of darkness back.  Life in daylight all ...

          ... t just drive until I was tired and expect to find a place to stay. It was still early when I reached Grande Prairie but I'm not aware of any significant cities between here and Edmonton, the next major city I'll hit, so I decided to stay there for the night.

          I still have 27 hours 8 minutes and 1,720 miles to go to reach Telluride. In other words, after four days of driving I'm not quite half way ...
