... spots. We have often talked about traveling as soon as I completed my teaching degree and this year happened to have the economic slowdown which really affects Justin's work in Fort McMurray. The timing couldn't have been better, with graduation in the spring, and taking the summer to prepare for the trip. We will do our best to update this as much as possible with photos, videos, and ...

The main reason for travelling to Fort McMurray was to meet up with a cousin I hardly know.

We have met once very briefly and recently kept in touch by email and telephone and we cannot pass up the opportunity to get to know each other better.

There are some people that you meet that remain acquintances and others like Kanu, his ...

... pretty fun I reckon, although it might take me some time to learn to ride it will be great! We have the 2 girls we know there so it should be a heap of fun. In our 2 weeks at Fort Mac we played lots of tennis, exercised a lot and got our health back on track. We did a 3 day juice detox in which Anna joined in too. No solids for 3 days, it went quick though and I learnt a lot about making juices and other health facts. My tummy got flatter too which didn't last ...

          Time to earn $$

... really annoyed at the fact they strung us along without telling us nothing was organised!! We came to work not live here for fun. We have spent now $800 on a months rent, $600 on association of massage, $150 for massage table, $140 massage towels and $15 coconut oil. Our plans of earning thousands of dollars quickly seemed impossible now. Allana and I decided to cut our losses and look for work on a ranch with horses hopefully. I got into contact with Rachael ...
