last night. While we were not one of the most Princess travelled passengers –
they had done 108 cruises and 1083 days- we did win a bottle of champagne door
prize and it was real champagne which we took dinner and shared.
Today’s Friday and time to pack (really, it’s Place’s time to pack).
Princess are putting on a shuttle for us (and 30 other passengers) ...
... something. Though Marko chose to have a piece of orange cheesecake. It was so-so. I rather save room for dinner.
Before we left the Old Town, we passed by another landmark of Gdansk – the big crane that used to lift things off and on to ships. It is huge and odd looking.
The shuttle took us back to the ship. I rested and went out with parents to the bar for a pre-dinner drink. It was formal night, everyone dressed up ...

This is a charming and delightful hotel. It retains its historical character, with modern standards of service. Beautiful roses in the room, too. Surely the only place to stay in Gdansk. And we loved the Night Porter!'
