We woke to a very wet Warsaw awash with rain. Breakfast was slightly curtailed by a power cut, but we were soon on our way, despite a lack of light and too much rain. Today's journey to Gdansk should have been straightforward, but a mixture of road works, road closures, pouring rain, huge traffic jams and cranky satnavs all meant that we found …

... hour and
came back solo and we headed back to the ship. No idea if someone was missing
or not, but we sailed out of Gdynia on time.

Went to our dining room for dinner and everyone was there again.

Saw a comedy show. If the act was half as good as the comedian kept

We have got two days sailing to Southampton, which is good to have a
couple of lazy days.

A travel blog entry by blkconnor

We made our own way into Gdansk rather than the ship's shuttle bus. The ship arrived at the port of Gdynia and then walked 45 mins to the train station. It was another hot day. The port is a shipbuilding area with lots of cranes and there was a naval ...

This is a charming and delightful hotel. It retains its historical character, with modern standards of service. Beautiful roses in the room, too. Surely the only place to stay in Gdansk. And we loved the Night Porter!'
