... everything we tasted except for one thing! LOL! They had the best balsamic vinaigrette and truffle oil I've ever tasted! We then made our way to Siena, a very hilly medieval village. Needless to say it was a challenge for me, those hills were no joke! But I made it slowly! ... around the local area, and today we headed into town, stopping for numerous coffees along the way. We have the coffee orders down pat now - we stand at the bar and order a doppio (double espresso) for Garth, and an Americano (long black) for Gillian, plus a couple of biscotti (small biscuits) or croissants, and the bill is usually less than €5!! ... it seemed there were local Italians selling their wears, but amongst them were pushy salesmen of African origin who seemed to have no stalls but simply laid out their wears on blankets on the street - mostly selling watches.... they seemed a little dodgy and very pushy. 'Wanna buy a watch' type salesmen. We wandered up and down the streets, knowing we wanted to buy, but wary to check the prices at all the stores and try to get the best deal.
