... that she and 4 others had taken a wrong turn and ended up in a different town! Once they found out they turned around and found their way to Montepulciano with signs :D Once we were both cleaned up we decided to go into town. ... wine shops and drooled over the bottles of Vino Nobile del Montepulciano. Lots of great shops, but after running the gauntlet of wine stores down the hill we were thirsty! We found a nice little Trattoria outside in a piazza and I finally got try my panzanella, which a type of bread salad....omg soooooo good! Along with a mezzo litre of local white, which was really great I may add! The best part was the little clock tower ...
