... It goes without saying that I "had" to drive up North and not only to ski. The temperatures in the White Mountains are very low, even for NH standards. It's very cold, really cold - about 5F, and don't forget to add strong winds. There have been moments even I was cold ;-).

We are so lucky to have friends that invite us to ski at Waterville Valley. It's a really nice family focused resort about a 5 hour drive from New Canaan. The kids get on well and know the resort so well now that they ski or snow board together and then meet up with their slower parents at lunch or the end of the day.
