It appears to me that the farms here operated by feeding the cattle in sheds with fodder grown as crops out in the fields. I saw very little of cattle grazing on grass as you would at home.
My destination in Wisconsin was actually Elkhart Lake racing circuit, which is very near to Lake Michigan. But it was easy to see that I'd be running too late to get there in time this afternoon.

Hey all! I'm glad that you have decided to follow my blog. I will try to update this as much as I can throughout my trip in New Zealand. Tomorrow, February 3, is our travel day; Kyle and I fly out of Chicago at noon. We will land in Auckland at 6 am on Wednesday, February 5 (11 am Tuesday-Wisconsin Time). Our return home from Entebbe went without a hitch. We had just enough time in Amsterdam to relax a bit before re-boarding the flight to Detroit. We passed through immigration and customs in Detroit, got our boots cleaned (since we were visiting farms), and re-boarded for the short flight to Milwaukee.
