We said goodbye to Joy yesterday evening which was a bit emotional. I can not wait to go myself right now. 11 Weeks and 3 days before I land in Rio. Not that I am counting!
I am yet again one step closer though: After booking the tickets, moving bedrooms, forever not trying to spend any money and Joy leaving already, I decided to tell work about my traveling plans. It was such a relief! Slowly but surely my time will come! Muahahaaa!
i was at my bowling ally with my family and this really hot walked past
he goes to my bowling club and i am always flirtting with him and we
always have a laugh. but i dont know how to tell him i like him and i dont
know how he will react. but i am not bothered that much even though i
am like in love with him. oh well
... of £50/day (inc fuel) to allow us to travel for the next 6 months.
So, this flash place was not for us. We decided to continue forth up the road 15 min to a "Caravan Park"... quite literally a cow paddock where you could park your van. But a £3 the price was right and we were tired and could not be bothered searching any further.
Atleast there was a place ...

Nearly forgot when we were driving through Newton Abbot on the way to the camp site, i saw a sign on the front of a small cottage it read "Charles Dickens parents lived here" Now here is some homework for you, is it the Charles Dickens of "A Christmas Carol" fame? If yes did his parents really live in Newton Abbot? If not then who is the other Charles Dickens?
Will upload a couple of photo's of today.
Well a bit behind with the blog due to no connection so here is a quick update.
We booked into Middlewick farm for a few days before going to Dad's and Mo's for a few days whilst "No Fixed Abode" was away being fitted with a tow bar.
The farm site was very quiet and relaxing, full of sweet smells of dung and pig poop!!!!
Truck dog Poppy thought it was great fun chasing the chickens!!
Hope you like the vid and pics.
... out to Country Cousins Carvery restaurant at Westward Ho for a traditional Sunday lunch today.
There was a mile of people on the pebble bank enjoying the sunshine, it can't last!!
Took them home and then have come over to Sharen & Steve Mays at Northam to use their computer. Apart from this travel blog I checked the A League and not happy with the Jets effort against Brisbane!!
... 2 of the group were caught but only because of me, not because of the security guards.
Another of the boys who managed to get away then entered the club the following night and had the cheek to ask me how my boys were as i passed him, sat at a table with his friends. Security have told me that they do not have cctv on site so apart from the 2 that were arrested finally, the others have got away ...
... quite a bit later.
Once on the coach (a whole hour and fifteen minutes later) I fell asleep in no time. So so tired!
At the moment I am sitting in seat 70D which is the last row of seats in the plane and I will be sat here for the next 11 hours. So far Thai boxing and the Phi Phi Islands have been recommended. I hope to visit both of them.
And the adventure has begun..."
... rainy season and all, and so VERY muddy and the ground VERY soft in places. Proof of this was everywhere with big juggernauts stuck and being unloaded - probably there for days with a few more days digging ahead). Bronwen did us proud. I was glad to say that Jamie wasn't taking any chances... Apart from a small problem with a leaf spring which was easily fixed by a man with a welder in Nioro, the rest of Mali wasn't a problem. (well, apart from spending the night in ...
